Since then, we started to meet up every now and then to almost everyday. As long as someone is free, we will just contact one another to plan for a meet up that night. Whether it is just dinner or lunch or for that few hours. Most of us will turn up to fellowship. There were times when we see each other everyday including Sunday. We will all stay for recycling till everything is done then we will packed up and go Party World together when we have no idea where to go. Not only that, we also had supper every now and then when Yong Quan managed to get a car or Rach rent a car. We then named ourselves "Supper Gang".
Then one of the tuesday when we are supposed to have a prayer meeting at Jurong West. We met up with Huiming jie to have dinner together. As we were chatting, "Supper Gang" was mention somehow and Huiming jie commented, "you all should not call Supper Gang, should call everyday Gang, since you all meet almost everyday,siao. " haha. That's how EveryDay Gang aka EG came about. EG is just to shorten the Everyday Gang and sound better. haha.
THE HISTORY OF MSN CONFERENCE
no doubts chalet was the event that bonded us but then msn conference plays a big part too as we use msn to maintain our friendship.hmm maintain? is it a suitable word? i guess so since it was sun who gave me the word x) and so msn acted as a duct to maintain our friendship back then and of cause now
msn conference normally started at 12am with rach adding all of us in to the room when we came online (sometimes van and sometimes myself depending who came online first) and when dawn draw near slowly one by one will go offline leaving a few night cats behind and there was once we actually chatted till 4am plus~
those were the good old days and of cause good old times which accompanied us in our walk and since then all of us have grown up and well perhaps compared to the past we may have more commitments in life now as age comes with responsibility but apart from our busyness our silence,deep down one thing we know will never change and that's ..
our love. our friendship. our lameness. our laughter
THE HISTORY OF "WEDNESDAY"
we were told of this particular chicky stall which sells nice chicky rice by yq during our first wednesday meet up and so we went ahead to try the food and we realised it was not bad so initially
when the week reached wednesday rach or van will messaged all of us if we were interested to meet up for chicky and after all of us acknowledged the messaged the next thing to happened was~
all of us at chicky stall eating chicky rice and as times goes by wednesday chicky rice had became a daily routine and the chicky eaters have increased over the days with more and new people joining us
and after chicky we will proceed to funan for anderson ice cream and there was once the shop at funan closed down and we actually don't mind the long distance and walked all the way to suntec's anderson and perhaps ice cream as dessert after a plate chicky rice ..
hmmm it just goes well
in another words wednesday also equals to ..
chicken rice -> ice cream -> walk the river -> long john silver -> home
